Consolidated Legal Analysis

This course revisits fundamental principles of legal analysis in a systematic manner. It will build and consolidate skills needed to master the details of varied areas of law, to analyze the relationships between facts and legal rules, to identify legal issues, and to make persuasive written arguments in support of legal conclusions. There will be frequent written exercises.

Students will also meet once a week in a small class section with an adjunct in addition to the regular CLA classes. The adjunct will provide individual instruction. New York Law in National Perspective is a prerequisite to Consolidated Legal Analysis.

This course is a required course under the Comprehensive Curriculum.
